Since ACA’s founder produced one of the most highly rated music shows on the Continent – O Access, Coke engaged ACA to develop a brand strategy designed to take their Coke Studio show to another level.
With both North American and local market insight, ACA helped the client select the artist that was best suited to give the best brand representation and artist connectivity. ACA chose multi Grammy Award winning singer/songwriter superstar recording Artist Ne- Yo to be the featured artist for the finale of season 3 of Coke Studio Africa. Ne-Yo wrote and produced a song collaboration between himself and the continent’s top artists (AliKiba, Maurice Kirya, Dama do Bling, Ice Prince & Wangechi).
Local artists were able to measure themselves against a global icon to realize that they were as talented like everyone else and just needed the opportunity to set themselves up at global scale. Completed a pilot of its services for Coca-Cola Africa where it facilitated and managed brand-talent collaboration between global R&B star Ne-Yo and Coca-Cola Africa. The brand-talent collaboration resulted in the highest ever recorded engagement with the Coca-Cola website – so much so that the Coca-Cola global office thought that its web properties were being hacked.
