Pearl Thusi, born on May 13, 1988, is a versatile South African actress, model, television host, and radio personality. She has made significant contributions to both the African and international entertainment industries, breaking barriers for future talent. Notably, she portrayed Patricia Kopong in the BBC/HBO series “The No.1 Ladies Detective Agency” and Dayana Mampasi, a Zimbabwean Harvard Law School graduate, in the American series “Quantico” alongside Priyanka Chopra. Her role in the romantic comedy “Catching Feelings,” directed by Kagiso Lediga and streamed on Netflix, earned critical acclaim.

In 2020, Pearl achieved a historic milestone in the beauty industry by becoming the first African collaborator with international cosmetics giant MAC. She released two limited-edition makeup kits, each designed to capture different facets of her personality.
