SNE MBATHA

Sne Mbatha is a distinguished South African artist, celebrated for her talents in dance, acting, choreography, and stunt work. Notably, she portrayed the character Okankan in the remarkable 2022 film “The Woman King,” sharing the screen with Viola Davis and Thuso Mbedu. Sne’s multifaceted career includes being the face of Africa’s MTV Base Dance Nation and leading creative teams in planning and choreographing the DSTV Mzansi Viewers Choice Awards.

Her journey began with her participation in the South African version of “So You Think You Can Dance” in 2010. She is widely recognized for her exceptional work in the hip-hop genre and notably served as the lead dancer in Omarion’s 2017 music video for the hit single “Distance.”

In June 2021, Sne made her acting debut, taking on the role of Zinhle, the third lead actress, in the Netflix series “JIVA!” Beyond her artistic endeavors, Sne is a strong advocate for self-worth and knowledge within the entertainment industry.
