Olly Zondi



Thandolwethu (Olly) Zondi is a 22 year old multi-industry personality. He attended Maritzburg College where he was honoured for his football and cultural prowess and contributions to the school. With sport seeming to be his forte , he went on to attending ETA College where he studied Sports Management, after getting a scholarship to The Sharks Academy, subsequently becoming the First Ever Sharks Academy student to graduate with a degree in his course. During his time studying, he became a model for GIO Models Durban and a radio show host, hosting the Sports Unlocked Show on DYR (Durban Youth Radio).

He was also a rugby and football commentator on SuperSport Schools as well as an MC & Announcer for the Sharks Rugby, all while playing professional football for Summerfield Dynamos. Still keeping within sport, he then became a sports co- ordinator at Grace College just at the age of 21, where he became MIC of rugby as well as Boys & Girls Basketball. He also headed the Gospel Choir. Unexpectedly, he got scouted and given a “lead-role” audition for an upcoming film series, in which he got the role and worked with some of the best actors in the country, ultimately kick starting a new career path in film and television. He has since been very involved with arts and production, as a means to hone his acting and performance skills.
